The mission is to cater to students at Youngstown State University in an effort to engage them in awareness-raising and fundraising activities to foster tomorrow’s leaders in the Alzheimer’s community.

Members can attend workshops and seminars featuring experts in the field of Alzheimer’s research and care, gaining valuable knowledge and insights.

Members can participate in volunteer activities that directly support individuals with Alzheimer’s and their families, providing practical experience and a sense of fulfillment. Additionally, such activities can help individuals when applying for graduate school, the workforce, or other schools after undergrad as volunteer experience and involvement as an undergraduate is extremely important. Moreover, having this volunteer experience will help members get some of the needed volunteer hours for the honors college done.

Members can connect with professionals, researchers, and other students interested in Alzheimer's care and research, building a network that could be beneficial for future careers.

Members can receive training on how to advocate for Alzheimer's awareness and support. Members can learn how to fundraise effectively and how to communicate and work with others.

To engage with Amateur Radio communities locally, nationally, and globally;

To provide students with volunteering, research, experimentation, academic opportunities, and other communications and scientific use of the K8NI Memorial Station and the Amateur Radio Service;
